January 2005 Album Blog

It was lucky that the idea for the self portrait project arrived only a few days before the start of 2005. I think if I'd thought about it too much, the commitment and the scale of the project would have been a little daunting. As it was, I just took each day as it came and tried to keep awake and aware for anything interesting I'd encounter during the day.

October 2005 Album Blog

As it turned out, 2005 was an ideal year for me to undertake the project. The company I worked for, had offices all around the country and my role during that year took me to different cities every week. This included London, York, Plymouth, Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Exeter, Shrewsbury, Derby, Reading and many more. I was also living in Wiltshire and so I tried to make the most of that beautiful county, with it’s wonderful history.

September 2005 Album Blog

What an interesting month September 2005 turned out to be. It covered photographs I took in Peru, Miami, London, Wiltshire, Leicester, Somerset, The Cotswolds, Sussex and Bristol. In the next blog I'll talk about how lucky it was that I choose 2005 for the project. I travelled a lot during the year and could never have known that the year would include visits to places as exciting as Miami and Cusco, Peru.
